This flaw arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied shortcode attributes, enabling authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts. With a CVSS score of 6.4 (Medium) and low attack complexity, successful exploitation allows arbitrary script execution in a victim's browser when they access an affected page.
