28
FAUCET Score

CVE-2026-34728 is a critical path traversal vulnerability affecting phpMyFAQ versions prior to 4.1.1, allowing an attacker to delete arbitrary files on the server. This flaw, located in the MediaBrowserController, results from insufficient validation of user-supplied input, which can be exploited via a low-complexity, network-based attack requiring low privileges and user interaction. With a CVSS score of 8.7 (High), it poses a significant risk to system integrity and availability, further exacerbated by its susceptibility to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. Despite its severity, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation or public exploit code, and community discussion remains minimal.
