CVE-2026-32243 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting specific versions of the Discourse open-source discussion platform. An attacker capable of creating shared AI conversations can inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript into conversation titles, which executes in the browser of users viewing the onebox preview. Rated Medium (CVSS 6.1), this network-based vulnerability requires user interaction and could lead to session hijacking or unauthorized actions on behalf of the victim. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion, and patches are available in versions 2026.1.3, 2026.2.2, and 2026.3.0.
