This flaw in tools.exec.safeBins allows a local attacker with low privileges to manipulate the process PATH, bypassing allowlist checks and executing arbitrary trojan binaries with allowlisted names. Rated 7.8 HIGH on CVSS, it poses a significant risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability by circumventing executable validation controls. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion regarding this vulnerability.
