CVE-2026-26972 is a path traversal vulnerability affecting OpenClaw personal AI assistant versions 2026.1.12 through 2026.2.12. It allows an authenticated attacker to write downloaded files outside the intended temporary directory by exploiting unsanitized output paths in browser download helpers. Rated Medium severity (CVSS 6.7), exploitation requires authenticated CLI access or an authenticated gateway RPC token, leading to high confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts.
