CVE-2026-2437 describes a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the WP Travel Engine – Tour Booking Plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to 6.7.5. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 6.4) stems from insufficient input sanitization on user-supplied attributes within the 'wte_trip_tax' shortcode. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts, which execute when a user accesses an affected page, leading to potential confidentiality and integrity impacts. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion, and it is not listed on CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog.
