CVE-2026-0620 describes a vulnerability in the TP-Link Archer AXE75 V1 router where, when configured as an L2TP/IPSec VPN server, it may accept L2TP connections without IPSec protection, even if IPSec is enabled. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 6.0) allows for unencrypted VPN sessions, compromising data confidentiality due to a lack of encryption for data in transit. The vulnerability is network-exploitable with low attack complexity and no user interaction required. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
