CVE-2025-9209 describes a critical Authentication Bypass vulnerability (CVSS 9.8) in the RestroPress – Online Food Ordering System plugin for WordPress, affecting versions 3.0.0 through 3.1.9.2. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to access private user tokens and API data via the /wp-json/wp/v2/users REST API endpoint. Consequently, attackers can forge JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) to impersonate any user, including administrators, leading to complete compromise of the affected WordPress site. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this vulnerability.
