CVE-2025-7641 describes an arbitrary directory deletion vulnerability in the Assistant for NextGEN Gallery WordPress plugin, affecting all versions up to and including 1.0.9. This high-severity flaw (CVSS 7.5) allows unauthenticated attackers to delete any directory on the server due to insufficient file path validation, leading to a complete loss of availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
