CVE-2025-55280 is a medium-severity vulnerability (CVSS 5.2) affecting ZKTeco WL20 devices, where Wi-Fi credentials and other sensitive data are stored in plaintext within the firmware. An attacker with physical access can extract and reverse engineer the firmware to gain unauthorized network access, and retrieve or manipulate device data. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
