CVE-2024-8161 is a critical SQL injection vulnerability in ATISolutions CIGES versions prior to 2.15.5. A remote attacker can exploit this by sending a specially crafted SQL query to the /modules/ajaxServiciosCentro.php endpoint via the idCentro parameter. This allows for complete compromise of database confidentiality, integrity, and availability, as reflected by its CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical). Despite its high severity, there is currently no public exploit code available, and it has not been added to CISA's KEV catalog, nor is there significant community discussion or media coverage.
