CVE-2024-6342 is a critical command injection vulnerability affecting Zyxel NAS326 (firmware through V5.21(AAZF.18)C0) and NAS542 (firmware through V5.21(ABAG.15)C0) devices. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a crafted HTTP POST request to execute arbitrary operating system commands. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability poses a severe risk, allowing for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
