CVE-2024-52014 describes a stack overflow vulnerability in specific Netgear router models (R8500, XR300, R7000P, R6400v2) within the pptp_user_ip parameter of genie_pptp.cgi. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 5.7) allows an authenticated attacker on the local network to trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a crafted POST request.
