CVE-2024-5015 is an authenticated Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability affecting Progress WhatsUp Gold versions prior to 2023.1.3. A low-privileged attacker can exploit this flaw, in conjunction with an improper access control vulnerability, to escalate their privileges to an administrator. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low privileges and no user interaction, potentially leading to full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
