CVE-2024-4635 describes a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Menu Icons by ThemeIsle WordPress plugin, affecting versions up to and including 0.13.13. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 6.4) allows authenticated attackers with author-level permissions or higher to inject malicious web scripts into pages due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. When a user accesses an affected page, these scripts will execute, potentially leading to data theft or session hijacking. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this vulnerability.
