19
FAUCET Score

CVE-2024-3714 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform for WordPress, versions up to and including 3.10.0. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts into pages through the 'give_form' shortcode when used with a legacy form. The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes. Rated with a CVSS score of 5.4 (Medium), the attack vector is network-based with low attack complexity, requiring user interaction. Successful exploitation could lead to limited impact on confidentiality and integrity, as arbitrary scripts would execute in the victim's browser. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, and no public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB) is available. The vulnerability has received minimal community discussion and media coverage, indicating a low level of public attention.
