CVE-2024-36061 is a critical blind OS command injection vulnerability affecting EnGenius EWS356-FIT devices up to firmware version 1.1.30. An unauthenticated attacker can execute arbitrary operating system commands by injecting shell metacharacters into the Ping and Speed Test utilities. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), this vulnerability allows for complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability with low attack complexity and no user interaction required.
