CVE-2024-30403 is a NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved's Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE), specifically affecting versions prior to 23.2R1-S1-EVO and 23.2R2-EVO. An unauthenticated, adjacent attacker can trigger a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) by causing an interface flap during MAC learning of Layer 2 traffic, leading to repeated PFE restarts.
