CVE-2024-2830 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WordPress Tag and Category Manager – AI Autotagger plugin, versions up to and including 3.13.0. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts into pages via the 'st_tag_cloud' shortcode, which then execute when a user views the compromised page. Rated Medium severity (CVSS 6.4), the attack requires low privileges and no user interaction, potentially leading to information disclosure and limited data manipulation. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this vulnerability.
