19
FAUCET Score

CVE-2024-23448 is a high-severity information disclosure vulnerability affecting Elastic APM Server. When Elasticsearch fails to index a document, the APM Server logs the error response, which can inadvertently include sensitive portions of the original document, leading to potential exposure of private information within server logs. With a CVSS score of 7.5, this vulnerability is remotely exploitable with low attack complexity, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to achieve high confidentiality impact without affecting integrity or availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, publicly available exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage surrounding this CVE.
