CVE-2024-1897 is a PHP Object Injection vulnerability affecting all versions up to 1.4.3 of The Grid Gallery – Photo Image Grid Gallery plugin for WordPress. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject PHP objects via deserialization of untrusted input. While the plugin itself lacks a POP chain, its presence in other installed plugins or themes could lead to arbitrary file deletion, sensitive data retrieval, or code execution. This vulnerability has a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH) due to its network attack vector, high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, but also high attack complexity. Currently, there is no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion or media coverage.
