CVE-2024-1503 describes a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the Tutor LMS plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions up to and including 2.6.1. This flaw, stemming from missing or incorrect nonce validation in the erase_tutor_data() function, allows unauthenticated attackers to deactivate the plugin and erase all associated data if the "Erase upon uninstallation" option is enabled and a site administrator is tricked into clicking a malicious link.
