CVE-2024-1482 is an incorrect authorization vulnerability in GitHub Enterprise Server versions 3.8 through 3.11. This flaw allows an authenticated attacker to create new branches in public repositories and execute arbitrary GitHub Actions workflows with elevated GITHUB_TOKEN permissions. Rated Medium severity (CVSS 6.5), the vulnerability requires prior access to the Enterprise Server and could lead to high integrity impact, though confidentiality and availability are unaffected.
