CVE-2024-10111 is an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting all versions up to and including 6.26.3 of the OAuth Single Sign On – SSO (OAuth Client) plugin for WordPress. This flaw stems from insufficient verification of user data returned by social login tokens, allowing unauthenticated attackers to log in as any existing user, including administrators, if they know the username and the user lacks an existing account with the token-returning service. Rated 8.1 HIGH on CVSS, this vulnerability has a high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, but requires high attack complexity. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
