CVE-2023-46648 is an insufficient entropy vulnerability in GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) versions 3.8 and later, allowing an attacker to brute force pending user invitations to the GHES Management Console. Rated 7.5 HIGH on CVSS, exploitation requires knowledge of a pending invitation, but could lead to high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion surrounding this vulnerability.
