CVE-2023-37564 is an OS command injection vulnerability affecting specific ELECOM wireless LAN router models (WRC-1167GHBK-S, WRC-1167GEBK-S, WRC-1167FEBK-S, WRC-1167GHBK3-A, and WRC-1167FEBK-A) with older firmware versions. An authenticated attacker on the network can exploit this flaw by sending a crafted request to execute arbitrary OS commands with root privileges. Rated High (CVSS 8.0), this vulnerability requires network adjacency and authentication, but has low attack complexity and can lead to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
