CVE-2023-35967 describes two critical heap-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities in the gwcfg_cgi_set_manage_post_data function of Yifan YF325 v1.0_20221108 firmware. These vulnerabilities, stemming from an integer overflow used in a malloc function argument, allow an unauthenticated attacker to trigger a heap buffer overflow by sending a specially crafted network request. With a CVSS score of 9.8 (Critical), successful exploitation could lead to full compromise of the device (confidentiality, integrity, and availability).
