CVE-2023-31007 is an Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache Pulsar Broker versions through 2.9.4, 2.10.0 through 2.10.3, and 2.11.0. This flaw allows a client to maintain a connection to a broker even after their authentication data has expired, either by connecting through a Pulsar Proxy with authenticateOriginalAuthData=false or by directly connecting with a specially crafted command under the same broker configuration. Rated with a CVSS score of 6.5 (Medium), the vulnerability has a network attack vector, low attack complexity, and a high impact on integrity, with no confidentiality or availability impact.
