This flaw allows a remote attacker to trigger a denial-of-service condition by sending numerous QoS 2 messages with duplicate message IDs and failing to acknowledge PUBREC commands, stemming from mishandling of the libc send function's EAGAIN return. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low complexity and no user interaction, leading to high availability impact.
