An attacker can remotely trigger this vulnerability by sending specific DNS queries, causing the named instance's cache to exceed its configured size limit, leading to resource exhaustion. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (High), this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can result in a complete denial of service.
