CVE-2023-2673 is an Improper Input Validation vulnerability affecting multiple versions of the PHOENIX CONTACT FL/TC MGUARD Family. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass filter rules, enabling UDP packets to reach devices behind the MGUARD and potentially facilitating flooding attacks. Rated Medium severity (CVSS 5.3), exploitation requires no user interaction and has a low impact on availability.
