CVE-2023-20137 describes multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the web-based management interfaces of several Cisco Small Business RV series routers, including RV016, RV042, RV042G, RV082, RV320, and RV325. These vulnerabilities stem from insufficient input validation, allowing an unauthenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary script code or access sensitive browser-based information by persuading a user to visit malicious web pages. Rated as Medium severity with a CVSS score of 6.1, the attack requires user interaction and has low impact on confidentiality and integrity. There is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code (Metasploit, Nuclei, ExploitDB), or significant community discussion, and Cisco has not released software updates to address these issues.
