CVE-2023-20050 is a high-severity vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco NX-OS Software, allowing an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. This is due to insufficient validation of arguments passed to specific CLI commands, enabling an attacker to inject crafted input. A successful exploit grants the attacker the privileges of the currently logged-in user, posing a significant risk to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
