CVE-2022-45149 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in Moodle, affecting various Fedora and Moodle versions. It stems from insufficient validation of HTTP request origins, leading to the unnecessary inclusion of a user's CSRF token in course redirect URLs after restoration. This medium-severity flaw (CVSS 5.4) allows an unauthenticated attacker to trick a user into visiting a malicious page, enabling arbitrary actions on their behalf with low attack complexity and limited impact on confidentiality and integrity.
