CVE-2022-41286 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the CGM_NIST_Loader.dll component of Siemens JT2Go and Teamcenter Visualization, affecting multiple versions prior to their latest updates. This vulnerability, rated 7.8 HIGH, allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted CGM file. While the attack requires user interaction and local access, successful exploitation can lead to full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
