CVE-2022-41015 describes multiple stack-based buffer overflow vulnerabilities within the DetranCLI command parsing functionality of Siretta QUARTZ-GOLD G5.0.1.5-210720-141020 firmware. Specifically, a flaw in the 'vpn basic protocol' command template allows a specially crafted network packet to trigger these overflows. This critical vulnerability (CVSS 9.8) can be exploited remotely without authentication, leading to arbitrary command execution with high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
