CVE-2022-37880 describes a critical vulnerability in Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager versions 6.10.6 and below, and 6.9.11 and below, allowing remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands as root on the underlying host. This high-severity vulnerability (CVSS 7.2) requires high privileges but has low attack complexity, potentially leading to complete system compromise. Despite its severity, there is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion. Aruba has released patches to address this issue.
