CVE-2022-36996 is an information disclosure vulnerability affecting Veritas NetBackup versions 8.1.x through 9.1.0.1, as well as related Flex Appliance and Flex Scale products. An authenticated attacker with client access can remotely gather sensitive information about any host registered with a NetBackup Primary server. Rated Medium severity (CVSS 6.5), this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and high confidentiality impact, but does not affect integrity or availability.
