CVE-2022-35989 is a high-severity denial of service vulnerability affecting TensorFlow versions prior to 2.10.0, 2.9.1, 2.8.1, and 2.7.2. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger a CHECK fail in the GPU kernel by providing a malformed window size input to the MaxPool operation, leading to a system crash. There are no known workarounds, and while patches are available, there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
