CVE-2022-35537 is a critical command injection vulnerability (CVSS 9.8) affecting multiple WAVLINK wireless router models, including the WN572HP3, WN533A8, WN530H4, WN535G3, and WN531P3. The flaw stems from insufficient input sanitization of the 'mac_5g' and 'Newname' parameters within the wireless.cgi script, allowing unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with low attack complexity, potentially leading to complete compromise of the affected devices.
