CVE-2022-33701 is an improper access control vulnerability in Samsung's KnoxCustomManagerService, affecting Google Android devices prior to the SMR Jul-2022 Release 1. An attacker can exploit this by sending a broadcast intent to call the PowerManager.goToSleep method, which is normally protected by system permissions. With a CVSS score of 3.3 (Low), this local attack requires low privileges and user interaction, resulting in a low impact on availability (denial of service).
