CVE-2022-33185 describes multiple stack-based buffer overflows in Brocade Fabric OS versions prior to v9.0.1e and v9.1.0. These vulnerabilities arise from the use of unsafe string functions when processing authenticated local user input. With a CVSS score of 7.8 (High), successful exploitation allows authenticated local attackers to achieve arbitrary code execution as the root user. There is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
