18
FAUCET Score

CVE-2022-32476 describes a Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) race condition in Insyde InsydeH2O firmware kernels 5.0 through 5.5. This vulnerability, stemming from DMA attacks on a shared SMM/non-SMM buffer, could lead to SMRAM corruption and privilege escalation. With a CVSS score of 7.0 (HIGH), exploitation requires local access and high attack complexity, but can result in full confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
