CVE-2022-30306 is a stack-based buffer overflow (CWE-121) in the CA sign functionality of FortiWeb versions 7.0.1 and below, 6.4 all versions, and 6.3.19 and below. An authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to achieve arbitrary code execution by submitting a specially crafted password. With a CVSS score of 8.8 (High), this vulnerability allows for full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability with low attack complexity and no user interaction.
