CVE-2022-28853 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in Adobe InDesign versions 16.4.2 and earlier, and 17.3 and earlier, affecting both macOS and Windows platforms. This high-severity flaw (CVSS 7.8) could lead to arbitrary code execution if a user opens a specially crafted malicious file. While requiring user interaction, successful exploitation grants an attacker the same privileges as the current user, potentially compromising confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
