Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending a crafted request to the setWanCfg function, specifically through the hostName parameter, to execute arbitrary commands on the device. With a CVSS score of 9.8, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network without authentication, leading to complete compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Despite its high severity and potential for remote code execution, there is currently no public exploit code available, nor is there evidence of active exploitation or significant community discussion.
