CVE-2022-22159 is a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in the NETISR network queue functionality of Juniper Networks Junos OS kernel, affecting various versions of Junos OS. An unauthenticated attacker can trigger this by sending crafted packets over IPv4 unicast routing ECMP unilist selection, causing the routing protocol daemon (rpd) CPU to reach 100% utilization. With a CVSS score of 7.5 (HIGH), this vulnerability has a low attack complexity and can lead to a sustained DoS condition without requiring user interaction or privileges.
