CVE-2022-22153

CVE-2022-22153 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series and MX Series with SPC3, stemming from insufficient algorithmic complexity and unbounded resource allocation in the flow processing daemon. An unauthenticated network attacker can exploit this by sending a high percentage of fragmented packets, leading to high latency or packet loss in transit traffic. Rated 7.5 HIGH on CVSS, this vulnerability is easily exploitable over the network with no user interaction required, potentially causing significant service disruption. There is currently no public exploit code, evidence of active exploitation, or significant community discussion surrounding this CVE.
