CVE-2022-20948 is a medium-severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the web management interface of Cisco BroadWorks Hosted Thin Receptionist. An authenticated, remote attacker could exploit this by tricking a user into clicking a crafted link, leading to arbitrary script execution or access to sensitive browser information. The attack requires user interaction and low privileges. While Cisco has released patches, there are no workarounds, and there is currently no public exploit code, active exploitation, or significant community discussion.
