CVE-2022-20883 describes multiple vulnerabilities in the web-based management interface of Cisco Small Business RV110W, RV130, RV130W, and RV215W Routers. These vulnerabilities, stemming from insufficient user field validation, allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges or cause a denial of service (DoS) by sending crafted HTTP requests. With a CVSS score of 7.2 (HIGH), the attack requires high privileges but has low attack complexity, leading to high impacts on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Cisco has not released patches, and there is currently no evidence of active exploitation, public exploit code, or significant community discussion.
